Cloud in Donegal will clear and be followed by sunny spells with scattered showers

Cloud and rain or drizzle in Donegal today, Thursday, will clear eastwards this morning and will be followed by sunny spells and scattered blustery showers, some heavy with a chance of hail and thunder.

Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds, strong near coasts.

Scattered showers will become isolated later tonight and cloud will increase tonight. Patches of light rain or drizzle are possible by morning. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds becoming southerly.

Tomorrow will be a wet and windy day with gales developing in coastal areas. Rain will be widespread and some heavy and squally bursts are possible, especially in the late afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.
