Moderate westerly winds will veer northerly with highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees

Scattered showers this morning, Monday, in Donegal, will become more isolated through the afternoon, with widespread sunny spells developing.

Moderate westerly winds will veer northerly with highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees, though turning much cooler by evening.

Tonight will be cold and generally dry and clear, with just isolated showers. Showers may turn wintry on high ground. Widespread frost and some icy patches will develop with lowest temperatures of -3 to 0 degrees in a light northwesterly or variable breeze.

A cold day tomorrow with frost and any ice lingering for a time. Dry and bright for much of the day, but cloud will thicken from the south later in the afternoon and evening. Light northerly winds will increase moderate easterly through the day, with highest temperatures of just 2 to 4 degrees.
