Becoming largely cloudy this morning, Thursday, in Donegal with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the south.

Some sunny spells will develop this afternoon but rain and drizzle will become more widespread this evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty east to southeast winds, stronger near eastern coasts.

A wet night with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times with the ongoing potential for flooding due to saturated soils and high river levels. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southeasterly winds.

Dull tomorrow morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Dry and bright spells will develop for a time in the early afternoon but a spell of more persistent rain will spread from the south later in the afternoon and evening, with localised flooding possible. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh southeast winds.
