A largely dry and cloudy start for most this morning, Monday, in Donegal, with scattered showers.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will extend from the west in the early afternoon, turning heavy in places later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees, with moderate to fresh, occasionally strong, westerly winds.

Outbreaks of rain will continue to become patchier and clear eastwards early on tonight, with clear spells and scattered showers following from the west. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees with moderate to fresh, occasionally strong westerly winds.

Dry and bright for most with sunny spells and scattered showers. Showers will become more frequent and persistent later in the day merging to longer spells of rain at times. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with moderate to fresh westerly winds.
