Galway United's Emma Doherty
Emma Doherty grabbed the winner for Glaway United in their 3-2 win over Shamrock Rovers in the SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division in Eamonn Deacy Park.
United led twice in the first-half through Abbie Callanan and Niamh Farrelly but on each occasion, those strikes were cancelled out by the Hoops' Emily Corbett and a spectacular strike from Ruesha Littlejohn from the halfway line.
But ten minutes out from time, former Illies Celtic and Buncrana Hearts ace Dohety pounced to make it three wins from three so far for Galway.
To cap off a fine week Doherty has also been nominated for the Player of the Month award for March.
