Gardaí in Buncrana are investigating the incident
A man has been hospitalised after a weekend assault in the centre of Buncrana.
The incident took place on the town’s Main Street in the early hours of Sunday, February 9 between 3.15am and 3.45am.
The man was assaulted by another man who was unknown to him. He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information, who may have witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam footage to contact Buncrana garda station on 074-9320540.
