Windows smashed during burglary at Buncrana school

Two windows were smashed at  Scoil Íosagáin during the burglary

Windows have been smashed at an Inishowen school during a break-in.

The burglary at Scoil Íosagáin on St Mary’s Road took place in the early hours of Friday, January 10 between 00.25am and 2.20am. 

Two windows were smashed and gardaí believe entry was gained to the building.

No further damage was caused and it is not believed that anything was stolen from the school. 

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area to get in touch with them in Buncrana on 074-9320540. 

Anybody who travelled in the area with a dashcam between midnight and 3am on that date is asked to make the footage available to gardaí. The Garda confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.
