Gardai are appealing for information regarding a hit-and-run in Carndonagh before Christmas.
It is alleged that a red car collided with a male pedestrian at Churchtown, Carndonagh at around 7.50pm on Wednesday, December 18.
The man, who was crossing the road, was knocked to the ground.
The driver of the car continued onwards in the direction of the Mountain Road.
The injuries sustained by the man were non-life threatening in nature, Gardai have confirmed.
A spokesperson said: “We are anxious to locate the vehicle in question and the driver of same.
“If anybody travelled in the Carndonagh area or on the Mountain Road with a dash cam between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, we ask them to make the footage available to Gardaí.
