An outline of the proposed development as submitted to Donegal County Council
Plans have been lodged for a new camping park in Donegal that would include glamping pods suitable for respite services.
Planning permission has been sought by River Bed Lettings Ltd for the development.
The proposed works at Looking Glass Brae, Ballymacarry Lower, Buncrana would involve the demolition of an existing shed.
The company is then planning to construct a new camping park.
The plans include the construction of three fully accessible glamping pods suitable for the delivery of respite services.
They are also seeking the green light for the construction of four two-bed glamping pods and one three-bed glamping pod.
The application also provides for a single-storey facilities building that would contain an office, accessible toilet and storage area as well as associated car parking, site works and service connections.
It is expected that Donegal County Council will make a decision on the application by the end of February, 2025.
