A charity swim in memory of Kyle McDermott - the Burt man killed in County Tyrone in October - will take place on New Year’s Eve.
The Remembering Kyle Charity Swim will see participants dip into the water at Ludden Beach, Buncrana at 11am on December 31.
Donations will be made to Bereavement Support and Cruse, the bereavement support charity, from the proceeds.
The 24-year-old from Burt died at Altagelvin Hospital in Derry following an incident in the Tyrone village of Ballymagorry..
Mr McDermott worked in the construction industry as a digger driver, regularly sharing clips of his work in TikTok.
His funeral Mass took place amid heartbreaking scenes at St Aengus’ Church in Burt.
