Planning application lodged for new houses and apartments in Carndonagh
Carndonagh could get 56 new residential units - if a proposed development is given the go-ahead.
Morgan McCandless is seeking planning permission from Donegal County Council for a large development at Churchland Quarters on Malin Road, Carndonagh.
He has applied for permission for the construction of a mix of houses and apartments.
The proposed debvelopmenrt would include 18 own-door apartments in a total of three blocks.
Also included in the plan is one detached bungalow and three houses in a terrace block as well as 34 semi-detached houses.
The application provides for the associated site works, and connection to all public services.
Donegal County Council estimate that a decision will be made on the application by the end of February, 2025.
