Arthur McGuinness at the count of the Donegal constituency
Following the third count at the Donegal constituency count in Letterkenny for the general election, two candidates have been eliminated.
With the distribution of Padraig MacLochlainn's surplus of 324, which sprinkled a handful of candidates, Arthur McGuinness (35) and Vincent J Bradley (116) are now eliminated and their votes are to be distributed in count four.
Noel Jordan picked up 215 from MacLochlainn. Thomas Pringle moved up 27 more to 5,591 and the only other two candidates to get double figures were Pat the Cope Gallagher (13 to move onto 10,517) and Charlie McConalogue (10 to go to 8,137).
