A man in his 70s has died in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a road traffic collision in Donegal on Friday night.
The pensioner passed away in Letterkenny University Hospital having been involved in the fatal collision on the N15 road at Liscooley around 10pm.
Friends Ryan Glenn and Gordy Galbraith from the Castlederg area of County Tyrone were also killed in the collision and will be laid to rest later this week.
A man and a woman, both in their 70s, were seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment, Gardai have confirmed that the man has since passed away.
A second woman, aged in her 30s, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai have renewed an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
“Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to Gardaí,” Garda Sergeant Charlene Anderson said.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on (074) 916 7100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”

Father-of-two Gordy Galbraith, who was in his 30s, will be laid to rest on Thursday afternoon in Castlederg Cemetery following a Service of Thanksgiving at the family home at Hospital Road, Castlederg at 1pm.
Ryan Glenn, a father-of-one, will also be buried at Castlederg Cemetery on Friday after a Service of Thanksgiving at Lynchs Funeral Home at 1pm.
