A diabetes awareness and screening event is taking place in Buncrana to mark World Diabetes Day.
The event at the Buncrana Primary Care Centre is taking place on Friday, November 15 between 12 noon and 2pm.
There will be an information stand and screening for diabetes will be available. Members of the public are invited to attend and ask questions in relation to diabetes care and management and undertake screening if required.

World Diabetes Day is observed on November 14 every year to raise global awareness of diabetes—a chronic illness affecting millions worldwide. Organised by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organisation (WHO), the event focuses on the health risks of diabetes, preventive measures, and how to manage and live well with the condition.
