Second public consultation taking place on Three Trees to Carndonagh greenway

The greenway will connect with the Muff to Three Trees greenway

A second non-statutory public consultation for  the Three Trees to Carndonagh greenway project is taking place this week.

Donegal County Council with the support of Transport Infrastructure Ireland is inviting residents of the area, members of the public and other interested parties to participate in the  public consultation.

The project is currently at phase 2, options selection, which is a two-stage process. The shortlisted options will now be considered further as part of the project appraisal matrix and a preferred option will then be selected.

A  spokesperson for the council said the purpose of the public consultation is to inform the public of the option selection process and to invite feedback on these route corridor options and any other features that the design team should consider.

Two in-person public consultation events are taking place in Carndonagh and Moville.

The Carndonagh event will take place on Wednesday, November 6 from 2pm to 8pm at the Carndonagh Public Services Centre (PSC), Malin Road, Carndonagh, F93 YV1N.
