The cold snap is coming to an end and there will be spells of bright sunshine across the county

Weather: A bright and warmer day ahead for Donegal as temperatures climb

Early patches of mist and fog will clear to give a dry Monday with bright and sunny spells across Donegal, though there may be localised patches of drizzle along the coast.

Temperatures will reach 13°C to 14°C in light to moderate southeast or variable breezes.

It will remain dry overnight with clear spells and some mist or fog. Temperatures will drop to 4°C to 6°C in light to moderate southeast winds.

Tuesday looks set to start off cloudy but dry, with rain moving in by the afternoon. It will feel mild and humid in temperatures of 13°C to 15°C in moderate, occasionally fresh and gusty southeast winds.
