Local Link have announced an enhanced service in Inishowen
TFI Local Link Donegal Sligo Leitrim is enhancing bus services around Inishowen , with three enhanced and one new service.
The new services will begin on Monday, October 21.
This enhancement is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.
The Carndonagh to Derry, Malin Head to Carn and Greencastle to Derry routes have all been enhanced to run seven times daily Monday to Saturday and six times daily on a Sunday.
The more frequent service will be available early in the morning and later in the evening including peak times.
A new route will also begin connecting Greencastle to Buncrana via Carndonagh. It will offer four daily returns Monday to Friday and three daily returns on Saturday and Sunday. The route will extend to Letterkenny during the evenings and on Sundays, ensuring further connectivity when Route 951 is not in operation.
