Attendance at Carndonagh blood donation clinic encouraged

The clinic will take pace at Carndonagh Community School on October 2 and 3

Members of the public in Inishowen are being encouraged to attend a  blood donation clinic which is taking place in Carndonagh next week.

The clinic will take place at Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday, October 2 from 2:30pm to 5pm, from 7pm to 9.30pm and again on Thursday, October 3 from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. 

New donors aged over 18 are also being encouraged to give blood. A spokesperson for the Irish Blood Transfusion Service said: “One in four of us will need a blood transfusion in our lifetime, and one blood donation can save three lives.”
