Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area to make contact them in Letterkenny
A quad that was stolen in a weekend theft in St Johnston was found abandoned close to the shed it was taken from.
The quad was stolen in the Ballylennon area of St Johnston on Saturday, August 17 at around 2pm.
Gardaí say it was taken from a shed and driven a short distance down the road and abandoned.
Damage was caused to the front tyre of the quad.
Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area on Saturday or who may have any relevant information to make contact them in Letterkenny on 074-9167100 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
