Gardaí stress car security to tourists  and not to 'tempt an opportunist thief'

Gardaí were on patrol in North Inishowen on Friday

Gardaí from the Community Policing Unit in Buncrana were on patrol around North Inishowen on Friday.

They spoke with a number of tourists at Banba's Crown, Malin Head in relation to vehicle security.

“Please always remember to lock your vehicle and do not leave anything on display within it that might tempt an opportunist thief,” An Garda Siochana warned. “Always leave large amounts of cash and other valuables at home. It is always nice to have the chance to engage with visitors to the area. We hope you all have an enjoyable and safe stay.”
