Ms Evelyn McLoughlin is a former student of Carndonagh Community School

Scoil Mhuire Buncrana has announced the appointment of Ms Evelyn McLoughlin as the incoming principal.

Ms McLoughlin will take up the position on September 1 and succeeds Ms Rosaleen Grant who is retiring after 40 years of exemplary service. She is returning to her native Inishowen from Dublin where she has been Principal of St. Mary's Holy Faith Secondary School in Killester for the past 10 years.

Ms McLoughlin is a former student of Carndonagh Community School, where she also worked as a teacher and guidance counsellor.

“We wish Ms McLoughlin all the very best as she takes up her new role in Scoil Mhuire,” the school posted.
