James Given, Donegal Town
The death has occurred of James Given, Cully, Donegal Town, F94 AWY2, peacefully at home.
Sadly missed by his loving Mum Mary, Dad Francis, son Stephen and partner Agnes. Deeply regretted by his bothers Thomas (Georgina), William (Bernie), David (Charlene) and sister Caroline (Adrian), nieces, nephews and extended family.
Reposing at his late residence Tuesday April 30 from 2pm to 9pm.
Funeral service in Laghey Parish Church at 2pm Wednesday May 1, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Letterkenny University Hospital Oncology unit, care of any family member.
House strictly private on the morning of the funeral please.
Denis Curran, Carrigart
The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Denis Curran, Glen, Carrigart.
His remains are reposing at his late residence.
Funeral from there on Wednesday, May 1 going to the Church of St John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the Funeral.

Ellen Dixon, Falcarragh
The sudden death has taken place, in Letterkenny University Hospital, of Ellen Dixon, Ballintemple, Falcarragh, F92 YT67, and formerly of Middle Keeldrum, Gortahork.
Predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael, her sisters Mary and Nan and her brother Hughie, she is survived by her husband John, daughter Angela, sisters Breid, Madge and Kathleen and brother Danny, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.
Her remains are reposing at her residence in Ballintemple, Falcarragh, F92 YT67. Wake is strictly private to family and friends only. Rosary at 8pm. House private after Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral from there on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass in St Fionan's Church, Falcarragh, F92 X302, with burial afterwards in Gortahork Cemetery.

Frances Duffy, née McGuigan, Letterkenny
The peaceful death has occurred at her home of Frances Duffy, née McGuigan, 44 McNeely Villas, Letterkenny F92 ET9X.
Deeply missed by her loving sons Joseph and wife Deborah, Gabriel and wife Joan, daughters Mary, Amanda and husband Bob, grandchildren Ronan, Conor, Ciara, Ruairí, Jessica, Evan, Oisin and Grace, brother Noel McGuigan (Letterkenny) and sister Bernadette Sweeney (Creeslough), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Frances is predeceased by her husband James (Farmer).
Frances’ remains will repose at her late residence on Monday from 7pm until 9pm and on Tuesday from 11am until 9pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time after the Rosary please.
Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.15am going to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny Interment will take place afterwards in Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Sean Lang, Ballyshannon and Sligo
The death has occurred of Sean Lang, Rossnowlagh Road, Ballyshannon and formerly of Sooey, Ballygawley, County Sligo. He passed away peacefully at his residence, in his 91st year, surrounded by his caring family.
Predeceased by his sister Maura and brother Padraig; deeply regretted by his wife Vera, son Andrew, daughter Sarah, daughter-in-law Olga; much-loved by his grandchildren Erin, Eabha, and Amelia and sister Sheila.
House strictly private, please.
Funeral to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon, on Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Cremation will take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan at 2.45pm. Maureen McGettigan, Dublin and Donegal
The death has occurred of Maureen McGettigan formerly Flood, née Geoghegan, Clontarf, Terenure, Knocklyon, Dublin and Donegal. She passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Craddock House Nursing Home, Naas, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Michael and loving mother of Laura, Karl, Brian, Justin and the late Paul. Maureen will be very sadly missed by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Margaret and Nora, brothers John Philip and Michael, the McGettigan family in Donegal, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Her remains are reposing at The George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, W91 CD0K on Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral on Wednesday, with Requiem Mass at 10am in The Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium.
Danny O'Donnell, Derrybeg

The death has taken place, in Áras Ghaoth Dobhair, of Danny O'Donnell, Cotteen, Derrybeg, originally of Gola Island.
Predeceased by his parents Joe and Maggie, sadly missed by his sisters Máire and Nora, brothers Michael and Patrick and extended family and friends.

Frances Rawdon, Killybegs
The death has occurred of Frances Rawdon Carricknamohill, Killybegs, Co Donegal.
Sadly missed by her brother Tom, sisters Bridget, Peg and Nan, sisters-in-law Fidelma and Mary, brother-in-law Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Her remains reposed at her brother Tom's residence, Carricknamohill (F94D821) on Monday until 9pm.
Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, for 11am funeral Mass. Burial will take place afterwards in the local cemetery.
William Doherty, Carndonagh
The peaceful death has occurred of William Doherty (Tuckey), Magherard, Carndonagh F93 YD63.
Beloved Husband of Roisin, much loved Father of Bríd, Ann, Geraldine, Liam, Phelim and Michael, a devoted grandfather to all his grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
William’s remains reposed at his home. Family time on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral from there at 10.15am on Tuesday for 11am Funeral Mass in Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
Eoin Anthony Arnold, Frosses
The death has occurred of brave beautiful little boy Eoin Anthony Arnold, Meenacahan, Frosses.
Loved and adored by his Mama (Orla), Daddy (Paul) and his big brother Jamie, peacefully passed away at his home in Meenacahan, Inver. Eoin was surrounded, as he has been throughout his illness, by the love, care and devotion of his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, the prayers and goodwill of the communities and by his nurses.
Reposal of Eoin's remains took place at the family home Meenacahan, Inver, until 10pm last evening.
House private at all other times, please.

Rose Gill, Buncrana
The peaceful death has occurred of Rose Gill, Aughaweel, Linsfort, Buncrana, in the Donegal Hospice, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Nellie Gill. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother James, sisters Mary, Eileen, Anne, Brigid and Shiela, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law Marie, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Rose's remains are reposing at her late residence.
Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am in the Star of the Sea Church, Desertegney, Buncrana with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
