Public consultations on the Bridgend to Buncrana and Newtowncunningham greenway project are to take place next week.
The first non-statutory public consultations on the project are taking place at Aileach Youth and Community Centre, Burnfoot on Wednesday, April 10 from 2pm to 8pm and at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Railway Road, Buncrana on Thursday, April 11 from 2pm to 8pm.
Donegal County Council, supported by Transport Infrastructure Ireland, is inviting residents of the area, members of the public and all other interested parties to take part. Members of the project team will be available to discuss any queries or concerns regarding the project.
The purpose of the public consultation is to inform the public of the project and to invite feedback on the project study area, the constraints and opportunities located within and any other features that the design team should consider, the council said ina statement.
After the consultation events above, public displays will be made available for a period of two weeks until Friday, April 26 at Aileach Youth and Community Centre, and Buncrana Library.
