Some of those in attendance at a recent event held by the Inishowen Palestine Solidarity Group in Buncrana
The Inishowen Palestine Solidarity Group will hold a vigil for Gaza outside the town library in Buncrana on Good Friday at 2.30pm.
The event is the latest in a series held by the group calling for an immediate cessation of Israeli military action in Gaza.
Some 32,000 Palestinians have died during the Israeli attacks which were in retaliation for the Hamas incursion into Israel on October 7 which resulted in the deaths of more than 1,1,00 and the taking of more than 200 hostages.
A spokesman for the Inishowen Palestine Solidarity Group said the vigil will involve short reflections from the Christian, Islamic, Jewish and Secular traditions.
“Please come along and join us for a few minutes and express your solidarity for the Palestinian children, women and men who are being ethnically cleansed and genocided,” he said.
