'Gardaí from Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were operating a speed check on the N13 this morning when they detected a vehicle being driven at 167KPH,' An Garda Siochana said this morning

Gardai issue a warning after motorist clocked doing 167 kilometres per hour
A motorist was clocked in the Buncrana district on Monday morning at 67 kilometres per hour above the legal speed limit.
"Gardaí from Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were operating a speed check on the N13 this morning when they detected a vehicle being driven at 167KPH," An Garda Siochana said. "The legal speed limit in the area is 100KPH. The driver was arrested and charged to appear in court. Never risk your own life and the lives of others by speeding. Slow down."
