Lough Swilly RNLI congratulates latest inshore lifeboat helm, Barry Johsnton

Lough Swilly RNLI volunteer Barry Johnston has passed out as a helm on the organisation’s inshore lifeboat, the Atlantic 85. 

RNLI assessor Mark Mitchell said he was delighted to be able to pass Barry.

On behalf of the RNLI, he thanked Barry for all his hard work and extremely high level of proficiency.

Lough Swilly RNLI operates both an inshore and an all-weather lifeboat. This allows the crews to provide cover for the wide variety of commercial and leisure marine activities that take place in an area rich in maritime culture.
