Killea country singer David James
Killea country singer David James has released his new single ‘Happy Street’.
The single hit the airwaves on Friday and is sure to be a floor filler.
The Donegal singer and his band will make their first appearance at The Allingham Arms, Bundoran on January 13 and The Ryandale, Moy on January 20.
“These are the venues I used to go to and watch the bands when I was a young boy,” he said.
“So now to be returning with my own show is something really special.
“I was always a huge fan of Charley Pride and I knew when I heard this song that it would make a great modern day Jive”.
David brought together his team of musicians into the studio and recorded live - just as it would have been done traditionally in Nashville.
David’s first big taste of success came in the summer of 2016 when he released the song ‘My Donegal Doll.’ The song went to number one on the iTunes Chart.
David presents The Jivetime Show on Highland Radio and he said: “I really enjoyed recording live. We all got to bounce ideas off each other and ultimately get the best final product that we possibly could.
“I’d like to say a special thank you to Ryan Turner for producing this track and for his guidance”.
