Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH) is the second-most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation’s (INMO) Trolley Watch.
The latest figures show 20 patients at LUH are on trolleys waiting for a bed.
Across the country, 161 admitted patients are waiting for beds, this morning.
Meanwhile, 39 patients are waiting for a bed in University Hospital Limerick - the highest in country.
