Seamus McGrory, England and formerly of Buncrana

Hugh (Hughie) Friel, Blackcastle, Navan, Meath and Fanad

Jack (Jackie) Mc Cready, Ballinacor, Crossroads

The death has occurred of Jack (Jackie) Mc Cready, Ballinacor, Crossroads, F93 HX57.
Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, after a short illness. Beloved son of the late Johnnie and Margaret Mc Cready, much loved father of Ralph, cherished brother of William (Billy) and Isobel.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son, brother, sister, daughter in law Ann Marie, sister in law Olive, brother in law Billy, grandchildren Kerry, Chloe, Dylan, and Lucy, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and  friends. At Peace.

Remains reposing at the family home on Wednesday November 22 from 7pm  Funeral leaving from there on Friday November 24 at 1.30 pm for Service of Thanksgiving in St Anne’s  Parish Church  Monellan, Crossroads, Killygordon at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Family time from 10pm until 11am and on the morning of the Funeral. Family flowers only please.

Catherine Mc Cullagh (née Burke) Enniskillen, Fermanagh / Killybegs
The death has occurred of Catherine Mc Cullagh (nee Burke), Cavendale, Enniskillen and formerly of Killybegs 

Predeceased by her husband Jim. Sadly missed by her daughter Mary, son Paul, son-in-law Danny, grandchildren, great grandson Wyatt, brothers Pat, John James and Liam, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Remains reposing at her home in Enniskillen (BT744EN) on Wednesday November 22 from 4.30pm and reposing in Mc Brearty's Funeral home, Killybegs on Thursday November 23 from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. 

Removal on Friday morning at 11.15am to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 11.30am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Martin Taaffe, Louth / Donegal Town / Monaghan / Meath

The death has occurred of Martin Taaffe, The Cairns, Beaubec, Drogheda and formerly of Donegal Town and Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. 21st November 2023. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son John, brothers Brendan, Phil and Michael.

Beloved husband of Miriam and loving dad to Niamh. Martin will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, son-in-law Joe, grandchildren John, Joseph and Isobel, brothers Aidan and John, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove, Drogheda, which can be viewed live on www.youtube.com/user/finnegandvd. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

Charlie Robinson, Gortalaban, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Charlie Robinson, Gortalaban, Letterkenny, F92 P5CT.

Survived by wife Mary Robinson, son Boyd and wife Orla, son Philip & wife Elaine, son Stephen and wife Laura, daughter Catherine and husband Matthew, daughter Emma and husband Paddy, daughter Anne and partner Karol, daughter Sylvia and husband Eoin, 16 grandchildren and predeceased by grandchild baby Patrick, brothers George and Johnny, twin sister Anne and sisters Patricia and Sylvia.

Wake will take place at the family home in Gortalaban on Wednesday November 22 and Thursday November 23 strictly from 12pm-9pm and strictly family time  from 9am to 12pm each day and on the morning of the funeral.  (one way system in operation from Clareman’s Crossroads to Russell’s piggery)

Funeral service will take place in Dunfanaghy Presbyterian Church at 12pm on Friday November 24 and burial afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Donegal Hospice and the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o Paschal Blake Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Rd., Letterkenny.

Phil Melly, Farragens, Lettermacaward

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University hospital of Phil Melly, Farragens, Lettermacaward.

Phil’s remains will be reposing in McGlynn’s funeral home today from 5pm-7pm with rosary at 7pm with removal to his own home in Lettermacaward afterwards.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Bridget’s Church Lettermacaward with interment afterwards in the old cemetery.

Anthony Warnock, Tullaghan, Co Leitrim 

The death has occurred of Anthony Warnock, "Hillview", Duncarbery, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim, November 20 2023, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Sligo University Hospital.

Beloved husband of Margaret and adored father of Joan and Tony.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Elita, his beloved grandchildren Aoife, Darragh, Cillian and Niamh, his brothers Sean and Oliver, sisters Mary B., Agnes and Carmel, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and great friends.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Alice Warnock, his brothers Steven and Jim, sisters Alice, Margaret and Annie, and all the deceased members of the Warnock Family.

Reposing at the Family Home on Wednesday, November 22, from 2pm to 8pm and on Thursday, November 23, from 2pm to 8pm.

House private to Family at all others times and on the morning of the funeral. Removal from the Family Home on Friday morning, November 24, at 10.30am (walking) to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Tullaghan for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough.

Family flowers only please, donations in Memory of Anthony to Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust (S.H.O.U.T) care of donation box at Family Home / Church or by post to Breslin's Funeral Home, Bundoran.

The Warnock Family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Haematology/Oncology Unit of Sligo University Hospital and the Haematology Unit of Galway University Hospital for all the care and attention Anthony received over the years.

Denis Martin, Skerries, Dublin and Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Denis Martin Skerries, Dublin and Falcarragh. 

Husband of the late Irene. Sadly missed by his loving and devoted children Lassie, Joanna and Julie, adored six grandchildren Evan, Jayden, Max, Sam, Irene and Elma, his partner Marie, brothers Sean, Brendan, Hugo and Kevin, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends. 

Reposing at Lannon's Funeral Home Thursday from 6pm to 8pm, removal Friday to St. Patrick's Church, Skerries arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, interment thereafter in Ardla Cemetery. 

Seamus McGrory, England and formerly of Buncrana

The peaceful death has taken place of Seamus McGrory, Sheldon, Birmingham, England and formerly of Druminderry, Buncrana.

Brother-in-law of Anna Teresa McGrory, St Oliver’s Avenue, Marion Park, Buncrana. Survived by his loving wife Catherine McGrory and children Gerard, Marion, Martin and Paul.

Brother of John-Joe, Lily, Mary, Patrick, Denis, Gerard and Cathal. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and John McGrory.

Funeral will take place at later date in St Thomas Mores Church, Sheldon, Birmingham with burial in Widney Manor Cemetery, Solihull.

Hugh (Hughie) Friel, Blackcastle, Navan, Meath and Fanad

The death has occurred of Hugh (Hughie) Friel, Blackcastle, Navan, Meath and Fanad. Retired member of An Garda Síochána Traffic Corp.

He passed away peacefully, at The Mater Private Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff. Predeceased by his dad Denis, mother Rose and sister Bridget.

Hughie will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Denis, Darren and Jonathan, daughters-in-law Ruth, Aoife and Lijana, grandchildren Katie, Hugo, Noah, Taylor, Mason, Poppy, Kayden and Skye, brothers John and James (Donegal), sister Ann (Cork), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal Thursday at 9.30am to arrive at St Oliver’s Church, Blackcastle, for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St Finian’s Cemetery, Old Athboy Road, Navan.

House Private at all other times, please. Hughie’s family would like to thank the staff of The Mater Private Hospital Dublin for taking care of Hughie with great kindness and affection throughout the course of his time with them and also Dr Seamus Kiernan (Watergate Street Navan) and O'Connor's Pharmacy, Blackcastle.
