Malin Head Community Association is holding a heritage display as part of National Heritage Week that will take place on Sunday, August 13 in Malin Head Hall from 2pm to 6.30pm.
This year's theme is Living Heritage - the practices, knowledge and skills that have been passed from one generation to the next and are still in use today.
The display includes photographs of local thatched houses and a display of knitting, crocheting and embroidery.
At 3pm Anne Donovan will give a talk on wild flowers and cures and there will be spinning, kitting and crotcheting demonstrations.
This event is always one of great interest and a great place to meet up with like-minded people with an interest in the local area. The Malin Head Heritage Group would also like to meet other people who might be interested in joining their group and help research the history of all of Malin Head.
