Rosemary Toland (née Doherty), Downings

The death has occurred of Rosemary Toland (née Doherty), Larganreagh, Downings, peacefully on August 7. 

Beloved wife of Brian, much loved mother of Roisin, Brian, Maura and Rebecca and mother in law of Michael, Seamus and Ashley. Loving Granny to Odhrán, Darragh, Aoibheann, Páidín, Seamus, Micheál, Sophie, Eve, Killian and Tadhg.

Rosemary was also a cherished daughter of the late Pat and Rosie Doherty and sister to siblings and their partners Marian and Bobby, Brenda and Pat, Pat and Edel, Gerard and Karen, Eibhlin and Bill and Sharon and William. 

Her remains will be removed from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Wednesday at 5pm going to the Church of St John the Baptist, Carrigart to repose overnight.  Funeral mass on Thursday at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Colm Devenney, Buncrana

The death has occurred of Colm Devenney, 4 Rose Court, Buncrana at his residence.
Remains reposing at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Buncrana with viewing from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday, August 9.

Removal from there at 10.20am on Thursday August 10, going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am requiem mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Tommy Hegarty, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Tommy Hegarty, Roshine, Killybegs and formerly Straleel, Kilcar.

Sadly missed by his loving daughters Catherine and Yvonne, sons Patrick and Bernard, wife Patricia, grandchildren Daniel, Searlaith, Callum and Ultan, sisters Evelyn, Nora, Jane and Mary brothers Hugh and Dan, nieces, nephews relatives and friends RIP.

Reposing at Mc Brearty's Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 9 from 5-8pm.
Removal on Thursday morning, August 10 at 10.30am to St Mary of the Visitation Church Killybegs for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The death has taken place at his residence 4 Rose Court, Buncrana of Colm Devenney.

Remains reposing at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home Buncrana with viewing from 5pm. until 7pm on Wednesday, August 9.

Removal from there at 10.20am on Thursday, August 10 going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

Della Bradley, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Della Bradley; Gortlary, Carndonagh.
Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny last evening to her late residence.

Removal from there on Friday, August 11 at 10.30am going to the Church of the Sacred Heart Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Ann Gallagher, Dublin / Galway / Letterkenny

The death occurred on August 6 of Ann Gallagher, (née Comiskey), Lusk, Dublin / Salthill, Galway / Letterkenny. Ann died peacefully surrounded by her heartbroken family. Predeceased by her parents Sean and Mary and her brother Frank.

Deeply mourned by her daughters Sharon McAlinney, Orla Melia, Úna Bradley and Aoife Fennelly, sons-in-law Robert, John, Donal and Michael.

Sadly missed also by her 12 adored grandchildren Daniel, Adam, Holly, Jack, Luke, Donnacha, Alex, Robyn, Austin, Devlin, Faye and Tiernan, her sisters Kay Croke and Patricia, brother Martin, brother-in-law Tom and sister-in-law Edel, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.

No flowers, please. Memorial donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or the Galway Hospice.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) last evening. A Funeral Service will be celebrated for Ann at Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday, August 9, at 3pm. Family returning to Galway City for refreshments.

John McGinley, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Altnagelvin Hospital of John McGinley, Ardravan House, Swilly Road, Buncrana. Beloved husband of Maeve, son of the late Jack and Agnes McGinley RIP and dear brother of Patricia (Lynch), Oonagh (Philips), Patrick, sister in law Jean and the late Denis and Rosemary RIP. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family circle and friends.

Remains reposing at his residence. Funeral from there on Wednesday, August 9 at 9.30am going to St Mary’s Oratory for 10am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.

House private from 10pm until 10am, family flowers only donations in lieu to the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association c/o any family member.

Patrick McLaughlin, Malin Head

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick (Dearg) McLaughlin, Urbleragh, Malin Head.

Reposing his late home. Removal from there on Wednesday at 10.30am to St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin for Requiem Mass at 11am, with internment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Connor McGinley, Milford

The death has occurred of Connor McGinley 2 Quay Road, Drumbern, Milford, Donegal, (F92 CV40) tragically, as a result of a road traffic accident.

Deeply regretted by his loving parents Ennis and Noelle, brother Dennis, cousin Caitlin, grandfather Patrick McGinley, uncles Michael McGinley and Joe McElhinney, aunts Nellie McDermott, Caroline McElhinney, Kathy McElhinney, Siobhan McElhinney, Melissa McElhinney and Sinead McElhinney, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 10, at 12 noon in St Peter’s Church, Milford. Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

Daniel John (Dan) Mulrine, Ballybofey /Antrim

The death has occurred peacefully at his late residence of Daniel John (Dan) Mulrine, Edenvale Park, Dunmurry, Belfast, formerly Donegal Street, Ballybofey, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen. Beloved son of the late Peter and Margaret and cherished brother of the late Dr Frank and much-loved uncle of Margaret, Anne and Peter. Reposing at his home. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, nephew, nieces and family circle.

Funeral leaving his late residence on Wednesday, August 9, at 8.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church Of Our Lady Queen Of Peace at 9am. Interment in Stranorlar Cemetery at approximately 12.30pm. House private, please.
