Fr Brian Brady and Fr Tony Mailey to retire from Inishowen parishes

Two Inishowen-based priests are to retire under clerical changes announced by the Bishop of Derry, Bishop Donal McKeown.

The changes, which will come into effect on August 26, will see the retirement of Very Rev Brian Brady, parish priest of Clonmany and Culdaff and Vicar Forane for the Inishowen Deanery. 

Rev Tony Mailey, curate at Iskaheen, is also to retire.

Under the changes announced for the Derry diocese, Rev John Farren, parish priest at Iskaheen, has been appointed Vicar Forane for the Inishowen Deanery.

Rev Kevin Doherty, who is on loan from the Archdiocese of Dublin, has been appointed Adm Clonmany and Adm Culdaff.
