Woman alleges she was assaulted by a man in broad daylight

The woman alleges that she was assaulted by the man from the group after having a brief discussion with them before the group then left the area on foot

Gardaí in Buncrana are appealing for information in relation to an incident that occurred at Ballyhillion, Malin Head (Near Banba’s Crown) on Saturday,  June 3, at approximately 10:45am. 

A man and woman reported that they were in that area when they met a man, woman and two teenagers who had two dogs with them. The woman alleges that she was assaulted by the man from the group after having a brief discussion with them before the group then left the area on foot. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed this group of people and their dogs in the area to contact Gardaí,” a sposperson said. “If anybody travelled in that area that morning between 10.15am and 11.15am who had a dash cam, we ask them to make the footage available to Gardaí. Buncrana Gardaí may be contacted on 074-9320540 in relation to the matter.”
