Three electric fence batteries stolen in Inishowen

Gardaí are investigating the theft of three ‘Force Field’ electric fence batteries from a field at Ballylinn, Noriorra, Malin between 5pm on Friday, June 2, and 8am on Saturday, June 3. 

The owner had placed the battery units on the fence along the roadside at 5pm on the Friday evening only to discover that they were stolen overnight. 

“We appeal to anybody who might come across similar items for sale on a second-hand basis to notify Gardaí,” a Garda statement reads. “If anybody has any relevant information in relation to the theft of these items, we ask them to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074-9320540.”
