On Sunday, June 4, shortly before 3:40pm Gardaí received a report in relation to a road traffic collision that had just occurred between a lorry and a number of cars. 

The lorry, a Volvo 240 with a partial registration of ‘SB12’ had just left the Culdaff beach area to travel in the direction of Culdaff when it allegedly made contact with a number of parked cars along the roadside. The lorry driver did not remain at the scene.

"If anybody witnessed the incident or if they were in the area of Culdaff or Culdaff beach with a dash cam then we ask them to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540," said a Garda spokesperon.
