Gardaí have urged the public not to share a video that is connected to the death of a man in his 70s in Carndonagh.

The discovery of the body on Thursday afternoon is being treated as a personal tragedy.

A Garda spokeswoman said foul play is not suspected and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Gardaí said that they are aware that a video in connection with the incident is in circulation and have urged anyone who is in possession of it to delete it immediately and not to share it out of respect and compassion for the family involved.
