Gardaí are out all over Donegal on National Slow Down Day
In the first two hours of National Slow Down Day, GoSafe checked the speed of 36,679 vehicles and detected 69 vehicles travelling in excess of the applicable speed limit.
One of these was detected on the N15 in the townland of Drumnagahan outside Donegal Town. It was travelling at 113km/h in a 100km/h zone.
An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to drivers to comply with speed limits in order to reduce the number of speespeed-relatedlisions, save lives and reduce injuries on our roads.
