Buncrana Garda Station
Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred at St. Mary’s Road, Buncrana on Thursday, January 19, at around 9.50pm.
A car was turning onto St. Mary’s Road from a parking area when it was struck by an oncoming quad. The quad was being driven along St. Mary’s Road in the direction of the Cockhill Road at the time of the collision. The driver of the quad did not stop. The driver of the car was not injured but damage was caused to the car.
Gardaí are appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident or saw the quad on the night in question to contact gardaí in Buncrana on 074 93 20540. Dashcam footage from road users who were in the area at the time is also being sought.
