Make sure to take care as roads are still slippy
It's yet another early start for the hardy Donegal County Council road gritting crew on Friday morning as they look forward to a 5am start to their day.
They've had a tough week trying to cover as many of the icy roads as possible. Hopefully improving weather conditions will make a breakthrough and the ice will be a memory.

Met Éireann has forecast that any fog will be slow to clear across inland areas on Friday. Otherwise a dry and sunny day. Less cold than recent days with highest values of 4 to 7 degrees, in light south-east breezes.
As usual, assume that no road is ice-free.
