Gritting fleet out tonight again 

Icy conditions will make it difficult for driving tonight again

It's all system go this evening as Donegal County Council's gritting fleet is out covering routes in different parts of the county.

The icy conditions haven't gone away you know and all road users are advised to make the judgment call as to whether that trip is really necessary.

The Donegal gritting route index for this evening/tonight is as follows:

Met Éireann say it will be very cold again tonight with frost and possibly icy stretches. Dry and clear for much of the night, however, mist may thicken into dense freezing fog in parts. Lowest temperatures of -1 to -4 degrees in just light southeast breezes.
