Inishowen holidaymakers reminded to apply for passports to avoid delays

The public are being reminded to check their passports before they expire.

Inishowen councillor Nicholas Crossan (pictured below) is encouraging people to apply or renew their passports ahead of the summer months to avoid delays due to the huge increase in demand for Irish passports.

“The passport office is busy issuing passports now, although not as busy as it will be in the months ahead, as we think about our holidays.

“I would ask people to check expiry date now and apply in time.”

“Apply on time, and save on stress later,” he concluded.
