Wild Atlantic Women and friends in concert
A night of reflection, song and music featuring some wonderfully talented musicians and performers will take place at Ards Chapel in Creeslough this Friday night, January 6,
The Wild Atlantic Women and friends will host their annual concert - a free event which is sure to attract a big crowd.
The organiser of the concert is Letterkenny singer-songwriter Brí Carr.

“We decided that it would be lovely to join together in a pared back, prayerful easy-listening concert celebrating Nollaig na mBan with members from the Wild Atlantic Women and friends,” she said.
“All are welcome and the teashop will be opening for refreshments.

“The theme is hope, peace and gratitude, remembering absent friends and sharing current friendships as we embrace a new year together.”

The concert gets underway at 7.30pm and the artists performing on the night will include Brí Carr and her daughter Caela, Wild Atlantic Women members Maria McCormack, Anne Biddie, Carol Wilson, Jean Curran, Helena Kenny, Trudy Ni Dhomhnaill, Sarah Louise McFadden, the Falcarragh Folk Choir, Hannah NicPHaidín, Ella Fitzgerald, Margaret MacAteer and more.
There will be poetry and reflections from Denise Blake, Aine Ní Churrain, Karen Murphy, Ena Barrett and Colette McCallion.
“We look forward to uniting our voices and sentiments in song,” Brí added.
