Planning permission has been sought for an additional development at the facility by Dr Frank Fogarty

Clonmany medical centre to be extended

The medical centre in Clonmany its set to be extended.

GP Dr Frank Fogarty has sought planning permission for an extension of the current building.

The medical centre is located at St Columbcille Village at Clehagh.

An application for an extension was lodged with Donegal County Council this week.

The proposed works would consist of the erection of two further clinic rooms at the facility. The planning documents also provide for connection to the existing services and associated site development works.

The local authority says a decision on the application will be made in September.
