Nikke Bradley
Fine Gael general election candidate Nikki Bradley was appointed to the Seanad by Taoiseach Simon Harris in July.
A disability advocate and motivational speaker, she said the campaign “has been about listening, learning, and fighting for a Donegal where no one is left behind”.
“As a first-time candidate, I am driven by a deep desire to represent your voice and tackle the issues that matter most to our communities,” she says.
She says the election isn’t just about electing a TD; but is about “setting a direction for our county’s future”.
“A vote for me is a vote for someone who will prioritise inclusion, fairness, and practical solutions. I will fight for our schools, healthcare, community centres, and rural infrastructure to ensure they receive the funding and attention they deserve. I will continue to advocate for equal opportunities for everyone, including those with disabilities, ensuring that Donegal remains a place where we all thrive together.”
The Letterkenny-based senator says she has consistently championed causes that others have overlooked.
“From advocating for a full reassessment of the defective concrete blocks scheme to calling for improved mental health supports for those living with the stress of unstable housing, I have proven that I am willing to take a stand. As someone who has faced challenges myself, I bring empathy, determination, and a fresh perspective to politics—qualities I believe Donegal needs now more than ever.
“Your vote is not just a mark on a ballot—it’s a voice, a choice, and a step towards a better future. Don’t assume your vote won’t make a difference. Every single vote matters, and in this final week, I urge you to stand with me. Let’s make history together and show that Donegal values determination, fresh ideas, and a willingness to stand up for what’s right.
“On Election Day, choose hope, choose action, and choose a representative who will always put Donegal first. Let’s secure the future we deserve—together.”
