Former Ireland rugby international Bernard Jackman has linked up with the Donegal senior football squad.
Jackman has joined Paddy Carr's backroom team as a performance analyst.
The 46-year-old was capped nine times by Ireland between 2000 and 2009.
Jackman played as a hooker with Sale Sharks, Connacht and Leinster. He was part of the Leinster team that won the 2009 Heineken Cup.
More recently, Jackman has been the head coach of FC Grenoble in France and the Welsh-based Dragons.
In 2019, he was appointed as head coach at Bective Rangers.
He has worked as a rugby pundit on RTE and a columnist with the Sunday Independent.
Jackman has now teamed up with new Donegal manager Paddy Carr and head coach Aidan O'Rourke. Donegal returned to training in recent days and Jackman has spent some time with the squad.
Former Derry forward Paddy Bradley has also been added to the new managerial ticket.
An All-Star forward in 2007, Bradley was a selector with his father, Liam, during his spell in charge of Antrim while he has been Derry Under-20 manager for the last two years. He managed Glenullen in 2022, winning the Derry IFC title.
At present Hugh McFadden, Stephen McMenamin and Peadar Mogan are overseas. McFadden and McMenamin will be back in early December while plans are being put in place to have Mogan available for the National League when it begins at the end of January. Mogan is presently pursuing a Masters in Liverpool.
