Club-by-Club guide to the Donegal Intermediate Championship

Cloughaneely were last year's Donegal IFC winners having lost their previous two finals and they leave behind a competition so fierce few can be confident of picking a winner. Here's the hopefuls

Naomh Muire
Manager: Danny O’Donnell
Last year championship: IFC quarter-final place, where they lost to Dungloe.
This year's AFCL: Third in Division 3 (won play-off with Na Rossa to get promotion).
First two opponents: Malin home; Termon away.
Prospects: Danny O’Donnell knows what it takes at championship level but this will be a difficult campaign for the Naomh Muire man. They need to get off to a good start against Malin and are always a tough opponent at the Banks. If they make the quarter-finals they will be in bonus territory.
