Club-by-Club guide to the Donegal Intermediate Championship

Cloughaneely were last year's Donegal IFC winners having lost their previous two finals and they leave behind a competition so fierce few can be confident of picking a winner. Here's the hopefuls

Naomh Columba
Manager: Paddy J McGinley
Last year's championship: Lost out to Cloughaneely in IFC semi-final
This year's ACFL: Finished sixth in Division 2
First two opponents: Naomh Brid away; St Mary's, Convoy home
Prospects: The south-west side will be a little disappointed with their league run, which fizzled out near the end. Were without Aaron Doherty due to county commitments but they were looking odds on to be in the shake-up. Have something to prove in the Intermediate championship after slipping up on the home straight in recent years.
Star man: Aaron Doherty
