Club-by-Club guide to the Donegal Intermediate Championship

Cloughaneely were last year's Donegal IFC winners having lost their previous two finals and they leave behind a competition so fierce few can be confident of picking a winner. Here's the hopefuls

St Mary’s Convoy
Manager: Lawrence McMullan
Last year championship: Won the IFC relegation play-off against Naomh Ultan.
This year's AFCL: Finished 12 in Division 2 and have a relegation play-off with Red Hugh's still to play
First two opponents: Buncrana home; Termon away
Prospects: It has been a battling year for McMullan and his Convoy side but they have also shown some great snatches. They are in the tough half of the draw and will find it hard to get the points to make it to the quarter-finals. The real battle will be their final two games home to Naomh Brid and away to Red Hugh's
Star man: Paddy Dolan
