The All-Ireland Masters semi-final between Donegal and Sligo, which ended in controversial circumstances at the Sligo Centre of Excellence in Scardaun on Thursday night last, has been refixed for Saturday next, August 30th.
The game will be played at Melvin GAA Park, Kinlough with a 2 p.m. throw-in. Referee for the semi-final will be Leitrim’s Ray McBreen.
The original semi-final on Thursday night ended level after normal time and with light fading a controversial decision was made to play three minutes each way extra-time. The sides were still level after scoring a point each at Sligo 1-11, Donegal 0-14. The game was to go to penalties but at that stage there wasn’t sufficient light so a replay was needed.

The winners of Saturday’s replay will face four in-a-row All-Ireland champions Tyrone, who defeated Dublin in the other semi-final on Saturday last.
