Naomh Padraig's quest to become the first Donegal team to win an All-Ireland club championship ended in heartbreak as they went down 0-9 to 0-8 against Galway's An Cheathrú Rua in the JFC decider at Croke Park.

A late free from Fionan Ó Conghaile gave the Connacht champions victory in dramatic fashion at GAA HQ - although many television viewers didn't see the dramatic conclusion as their pictures had frozen in the 53rd minute.

"What’s going on? Your channel is frozen on Sky?," on person on X - formerly Twitter - asked TG4, who were broadcasting the match live.

Another directed the question at Sky Ireland, whom was one of the providers showing the TG4 footage: "SkyIreland
hi, TG4 is stuck on a freeze frame. Can you turn it off and turn it on again please? Service in south Dublin is affected."

Someone else asked: "You do realise your channel broadcast on sky has been frozen the last 30mins! Please sort it out. Ty!" while another said: "Our screen is frozen on TG4. We want to watch the rugby but the previous programme is on. All other channels are working. Any guidance would be appreciated"

The freeze continued into the United Rugby Championship match between Leinster and DHL Stormers at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin
